BusBoss SIF Agent

Orbit Software, Inc. (OSI) is a member of Schools Interoperability Framework Association (SIFA). This means OSI is actively engaged in participating in an industry-supported technical blueprint for K-12 software that will enable diverse applications to interact and share data seamlessly. The industry standard designed by SIF provides full data integration and accuracy among all software programs attaining SIF compliance.

BusBoss became SIF certified in August 2005. Using the BusBoss SIF Agent will automate the process of adding, withdrawing or changing student information simultaneously in BusBoss and in your district’s student accounting software, eliminating duplicate work and reducing the chance for errors. Manually exporting data from the school’s student accounting database to update BusBoss will no longer be necessary.
