Route Conversion

The route conversion can only be purchased in conjunction with the standard data conversion. Orbit Software will import your existing routes along with students assigned to their stops and routes in to the BusBoss database.

This will guarantee that students are assigned to their current bus stops and also pre-load your bus routes into the BusBoss system. The route data can be converted from an Excel spreadsheet, Word document, Access database or almost any electronic format you may use. We do all the work for you. This service will save you significant time and reduce your start up tasks, delivering to you a virtual turnkey system ready to use.

This will eliminate the need to enter all of your routes manually after BusBoss is installed.

Route Data Setup

If the route data is not available in an electronic format, route data setup will need to be performed. Route schedules and passenger lists will be manually entered into our specific Excel format in preparation for route conversion.

This step can be performed by the district or by OSI. The cost for this service is based on the quality of the route reports provided by the district. OSI will need copies of bus schedules and passenger lists in order to quote this service.
