Reports

BusBoss^TM has over 100 built-in reports available or you can easily create custom reports using the Report Generator. Reports are always printed to the screen first so you can select to print all or part of the report to a printer. You can also export the report to a number of Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word for easily creating custom reports or mail merge documents.

Reporting Capability

BusBoss^TM has a report generator that allows you to create and save unlimited custom reports as well as over 100 built-in reports.

The report generator is capable of multi-level sorts (ex. by school, by grade, by name). It also allows you to define filters for searching complex information. Each item selected to be printed the user-defined reports can have a filter assigned. You can easily change sort orders and filters.

User-defined report formats can be saved to a user-defined report title to be recalled for future use without reentering all conditions for the search or the sort.

In addition to a built in report generator, the system data is accessible by standard third party report generators through ODBC links.

BusBoss^TM generates mailing labels and postcards. Student transportation information (bus number, stop description, and time of pick up/drop off) can also be exported to Excel. You can create mail merge documents using this data for generating custom letters, labels, etc.

Redistricting Reports

BusBoss^TM has the ability to print maps with school zones in different colors. It is also immediately capable of printing a report of students located inside a newly created zone. BusBoss^TM has the following redistricting reports that can be printed or exported:

• Count of students by school by grade within a zone
• List of students (name, address, school, grade) within a zone
• List of students assigned to stops within a zone
• List of all stops within a zone
• List of all addresses within a zone
• List of students by race(name, address, school, grade) within a zone

Retain Historical Data

BusBoss^TM allows you to take a “snapshot” of your student and route data and save it to history. When you make changes to students and routes, the original information is not affected.

BusBoss^TM is the only transportation program that allows you to save as many days to history as you would like. This can be used to calculate state reports (Pennsylvania (PDE-1049), New Jersey (DRTRS & B8T) & Texas (Route Service Report) for saved days of the month to get the most accurate state reimbursement. Then print accurate routing reports several months and even years later. This is particularly useful if you get audited and need to print bus schedules and passenger lists from prior years.
