Found on the MAINTAIN MENU, this screen allows you to perform several functions on users in the system.
Maintain Menu Screen
Click [USER] on the menu and the following screen pops up.
User Information Screen
This screen lists all of the users with access to the currently loaded BusBoss™ scenario and each user's specific information. On the left side of this screen is a grid where user names are displayed in alphabetical order. The right side of the screen displays the selected user's information.
BusBoss™ has security built into it. Every user will have a unique user name and password. Only the system administrator will have the ability to create new users, assign each user to a user type and grant specific rights to each user type.
NOTE: If you are not a system administrator, you will not have access to this screen. If you need to change your access rights, you must contact your system administrator. If you want to change your password, use the Change Password function on the File Menu.
NOTE: BusBoss™ will only let one user at a time open any single record. This is to prevent any changes from being nullified. You will receive a pop-up message if you attempt to open a record that is currently in use.
The following tabs contain all the information stored in user maintenance:

USER - GROUPS TAB
Each user in BusBoss™ will be assigned to a user type. This is a convenient way to group users together. For example, the system administrator can create a user group called 'Secretary', and assign each secretary in the district to the 'Secretary' user group on the Users Tab. Then the system administrator can allow the user group 'Secretary' to only have access to specific parts of the system (on the Security Tab).
This tab displays a grid on the screen. It lists all different user groups in alphabetical order.
