- Administrative Unit Number (AUN)

- PDE Key
Yearly Aid-In-Lieu Amount is used for New Jersey Districts to automatically calculate the amount owed according to the total number of days the student attended.
The Average Load Delay Time Per Student (seconds) will be added to the route times at each bus stop for greater accuracy. If this setting is changed after routes have been created, you must load each route and save it in order to update the times. If there are more than a few routes, you can run the Save All Routes utility found in the Tools Menu.
Barcode Font is used when printing the Zebra p430i Bus Passes and the Route Instructions report.
Display Overloaded Route Warning, if checked, will alert you if/when you attempt to assign students to a bus that does not have enough capacity to accommodate the assignment.
Document Path allows you to identify the location for student documents.
Enable Auditing - Toggle user auditing on/off. Changes made by users can be logged and recalled when this setting is turned on. Audits track user name, date, and item(s) changed.

- Always Get Updates
- Ask Before Updating

Configuration Screen - Scenario Tab
Every scenario has its own descriptive name. When BusBoss™ starts, the scenario that was used last will load. The scenario name will display in the caption of the main screen.
This is the location of the SQL server instance hosting the BusBoss database.
This is the name of the database being used in BusBoss.
The background of the main screen is set to randomly change colors when you load BusBoss™. If you wish to have the scenario one color, then select it here. Once you select the color, the main screen will no longer be random.
When a database/scenario is copied, the current scenario database is copied to the new scenario database.
When you click this button, a screen pops up. Enter the name you want to use for the new scenario. Click OK.
An unlimited number of scenarios can be created. Scenarios are used to allow you to play "what if" games. Changing bell times or removing/adding schools are typical examples.
You can change information in one database without affecting data in another database.
NOTE: Scenario names must be unique.
Click Finish on the last screen to copy your current database to a new scenario using the name you specified. The new scenario will also be loaded.
This button will not actually delete the database file from the hard drive of your computer. It will only remove the scenario from the list of possible scenarios. If you want to delete the database file from your hard drive, you must use Windows Explorer to do that.
Click this button and a screen pops up asking you to confirm the delete. Click OK to delete the scenario or Cancel to return to the Configuration Screen without deleting the scenario.
